F.B. Lehmann, of Germany, has been in business for more than 150 years providing state of the art chocolate and compound processing systems. Lehmann has a complete range of equipment for the manufacturing of chocolate; compound coatings as well as nut pastes and nut butters, all of which make extensive use of their technologically advanced ball mills and newly re-designed roll refiners. Their turnkey lines from bean to finished chocolate include cocoa bean feeding and cleaning, continuous roasting, sterilizing, winnowing, alkalizing, disk mills, ball mills or roll refiners along with all necessary ancillary equipment.
Lehmann’s food equipment falls into two main categories: firstly the processing of cocoa and nuts and secondly the processing of chocolate and compound.




Lehmann also supply roll refiners and ball mill refiners to other industries including: paint, ink, soap, cosmetics, chemicals and metal powders.
After 150 years Lehmann is still innovating and has recently launched the new generation of 5-Roll Refiners for chocolate processing. The new design features 5 frequency drives, forced cooling for the 5th roll and optional cooling for the 4th roll. The 2-Roll Pre-Refiners have also recently been re-designed. Lehmann has extensive experience in the development of the horizontal ball mill which has many advantages over vertical ball mills.
For the cocoa industry Lehmann now offers a new generation of continuous roasters and a newly designed cocoa winnower.
